Fillings can usually be placed during just one appointment and are normally relatively quick. You’ll be placed under local anaesthetic while we carry out the treatment, during which we’ll first remove any decay before thoroughly cleaning the tooth in question. We’ll then place the filling, shaping it to fit in with the rest of the natural tooth.
